Dr Johnson sterilising fluid provides effective protection from 99.9% germs, keeping your baby’s feeding utensils safe for use. Specially formulated for use on baby’s feeding utensils, the highly concentrated formula keeps your breastfeeding equipment and baby’s feeding utensils clean for up to 24 hours.

Direction for Use

Always make a fresh sterilising solution every 24 hours

1. Clean all your baby’s feeding utensils immediately after each feed to prevent sticky food residue on hard-to-reach areas. Brush out inside and outside of bottles, caps and teats using liquid detergent, warm water and a bottle brush. Rinse in warm water.
2. Prepare the sterilising solution by adding 50ml of sterilising fluid to 2.3 litres of clean, cold water in a suitable plastic container with lid or cold-water sterilising unit. Do not use a metal container. If more sterilising solution is required, use 50ml for every 2.3 litres (i.e., you need 100ml of sterilising fluid to make 5.6 litres of sterilising solution. Ensure sterilising fluid is mixed well in water.
3. Place the washed feeding utensils in the sterilising solution, ensuring all the utensils are fully immersed under water with no trapped air bubbles. Keep all utensils submerged under water for at least 30 minutes.
4. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after removing the utensils from the sterilising solution. Pick up a sterilised utensil from the sterilising solution using a tong, drain the utensil and rinse with cooled freshly boiled water before using.

Hazards and cautions

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid splashing fabrics or textiles with sterilising solution as may cause discolouration. Avoid prolonged contact of sterilising solution with metal. If medical advice is needed have product container at hand. Use in a well-ventilated area. Do not use together with other products.

Storage

Store locked up and in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, damp or moisture.
